1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Parkinson’s Teacher Training Academy (“PTTA,” “Academy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including its website, educational programs, certifications, workshops, memberships, digital products, printed materials, recordings, and related services.
By accessing this website or purchasing or participating in any PTTA offering, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use this website or purchase PTTA products or services.
2. Eligibility
You represent that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.
- Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
- Will provide accurate registration and payment information.
- Will comply with all applicable laws and professional regulations.
3. Educational Purpose
PTTA provides professional education for movement professionals and related disciplines.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, PTTA programs:
- are educational in nature;
- do not constitute medical, legal, or healthcare advice;
- do not authorize participants to diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions; and
- do not replace professional licensure or regulatory requirements.
Participants remain solely responsible for practicing within their own legal scope of practice.
4. Accounts and Individual License
Each registration or purchase grants a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to the individual purchaser only.
You may not:
- share login credentials;
- permit another person to attend using your registration;
- provide downloaded materials to another individual;
- share recordings or course access;
- transfer your enrollment without PTTA’s written approval.
PTTA reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for unauthorized sharing.
5. Intellectual Property
All PTTA content, including but not limited to:
- written materials;
- manuals;
- books;
- worksheets;
- videos;
- presentations;
- graphics;
- teaching methods;
- educational frameworks;
- certification examinations;
- quizzes;
- logos;
- trademarks;
- course structure;
- proprietary terminology; and
- website content
is owned by or licensed to PTTA and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchase of any PTTA product or service grants a limited license to use the material for personal educational purposes only. Ownership is not transferred.
6. Prohibited Uses
Without prior written permission, users may not:
- reproduce or copy PTTA materials;
- photograph or scan manuals;
- record live or recorded classes;
- capture screenshots or screen recordings;
- distribute materials electronically or physically;
- post PTTA content on websites or social media;
- create derivative works;
- translate PTTA materials for distribution;
- teach PTTA proprietary curriculum as your own;
- remove copyright notices;
- sublicense or commercially exploit PTTA materials.
7. Artificial Intelligence
PTTA materials may not be uploaded, submitted, or otherwise provided to artificial intelligence platforms for the purpose of reproducing, summarizing for redistribution, creating derivative educational materials, training models, or developing competing products or services without PTTA’s prior written authorization.
Nothing in this provision restricts lawful personal use that does not infringe PTTA’s intellectual property rights.
8. Payments
All fees are stated in the applicable offering.
Payment plans constitute a binding financial obligation. Failure to complete a course or certification does not automatically relieve participants of payment obligations unless otherwise required by law or expressly approved in writing by PTTA.
9. Refunds
Refunds, cancellations, transfers, and payment disputes are governed by the PTTA Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Certification
Completion of educational requirements does not guarantee certification.
PTTA reserves the right to deny, suspend, or revoke certification for violations of Academy policies, academic dishonesty, copyright infringement, unsafe conduct, or misrepresentation.

11. User Conduct
Participants agree to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
PTTA may remove participants without refund for conduct that materially disrupts learning or violates Academy policies.
12. Third-Party Services
PTTA may use third-party platforms for payment processing, videoconferencing, email communications, learning management, or website hosting. PTTA is not responsible for outages, interruptions, or policies of third-party providers beyond its reasonable control.
13. No Guarantee of Results
Educational outcomes depend upon numerous factors outside PTTA’s control.
PTTA makes no guarantee regarding employment, income, business growth, certification success, client outcomes, or professional advancement.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PTTA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of its website, products, services, or educational materials.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, PTTA’s liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the participant for the applicable product or service, except where prohibited by law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PTTA, its owners, employees, contractors, educators, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of PTTA services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of intellectual property rights.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Modifications
PTTA reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the website with a revised effective date. Continued use of PTTA services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
