What we do
We Help You Help Them—With Confidence, Clarity, and Credibility
If you’re a movement professional, Pilates teacher, or caregiver, chances are you’ve felt overwhelmed trying to figure out how to safely and effectively help someone with Parkinson’s disease. You may have searched for answers only to find scattered information, unclear guidance, or programs that don’t account for the real-life challenges your clients face. The fear of doing the wrong thing, making symptoms worse, or simply not knowing where to start can leave you frustrated, underprepared, and isolated.
At Parkinson’s Teacher Training Academy, we’ve been there—and we’ve solved it. Our training programs give you a clear, step-by-step system to work with people with Parkinson’s disease at any stage. You’ll learn exactly what movements are effective, how to tailor programs to individual needs, and how to support clients in preserving their movement independence with confidence. Rooted in Pilates, backed by neuroscience, and supported by ongoing mentorship, our method empowers you with practical skills you can use immediately and a community that supports your growth.
This isn’t just education—it’s transformation. You’ll feel the relief of finally knowing what to do and the joy of watching your clients move better, feel better, and thrive. We help you help them—clearly, confidently, and with real results.

Welcome to the Parkinson’s Teacher Training Academy (PTTA)
Welcome to the Parkinson’s Teacher Training Academy (PTTA)—a global leader with over 24 years of expertise, where applied exercise science and human movement science meet groundbreaking research to redefine Parkinson’s care.
For over 24 years, I have worked directly with individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, walking beside them through every stage of their journey. I have witnessed transformation, resilience, and also the inevitable challenges that come with a progressive neurological condition. I’ve seen the physical, emotional, and relational toll it takes—not just on the person diagnosed, but on their caregivers and loved ones.
Some clients choose medication, others choose not to. Every journey is deeply personal. That’s why it’s critical for movement professionals and caregivers to understand both the scope of their role—and its limits. True support means knowing when to lead, when to follow, and always how to meet people where they are with skill, respect, and empathy.
The Pilates 4 Parkinson’s (P4P) Method was created with this reality in mind. It’s not just an exercise program—it’s a comprehensive approach to teaching, supporting, and empowering people with Parkinson’s disease through informed, compassionate movement education. PTTA exists to train those who are ready to serve with excellence and heart.
