Cecilia Pulido, MS, is a movement specialist and 2nd Generation Pilates Master with expertise in Parkinson’s-specific exercise, scoliosis, and spinal asymmetry. With over two decades of experience working with individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, she developed the Pilates 4 Parkinson’s Method—a structured, science-informed approach designed to preserve movement independence. Cecilia teaches internationally, educating Pilates teachers and movement professionals in effective, immediately applicable strategies for Parkinson’s and related movement challenges. Her mission is to improve quality of life through accessible, purposeful movement.

Cecilia Pulido has been immersed in the natural health and fitness field since the early 1990s. She holds a Master of Science in Applied Exercise Science and has completed extensive advanced training in Pilates, therapeutic movement, and functional conditioning.
During her 13 years in Puerto Rico, she was one of just 22 professionals authorized by the Departamento de Recreación y Deportes to design and deliver continuing education for more than 5,000 fitness trainers. Her work integrates Pilates, strength training, and mindful movement disciplines, including PaKua and Tai Chi.
Trained under Pilates Elder Lolita San Miguel, Cecilia is a 2nd Generation Pilates Master and Lolita’s Disciple, with advanced certifications including Polestar Pilates, Pilates Therapeutics (Dr. Suzanne Martin), ELDOA Level 3, and Anatomy Trains.
She is the founder of Pilates 4 Parkinson’s, a method and education system dedicated to helping individuals with Parkinson’s preserve movement independence while equipping professionals to teach with precision and confidence.
